Success

Good morning lovlies, how are you doing today?Success?

What is success?

According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary Success is defined as:

: the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame

: the correct or desired result of an attempt

: someone or something that is successful : a person or thing that succeeds

So how would one achieve success then?

Now I ask you…

How do you define success?

Chipolte Black Bean Dip

1can chick peas
2 garlic cloves
1T olive oil
Chipolte peppers in adobe sauce(this is your heat, I used about 2 T and was quite spicy!)
1t ea. ground cumin, grand Marsala, chili powder, red pepper flakes and sea salt
2t sesame oil

Drain chick peas reserving liquid.
Place chick peas, garlic, peppers in food processor and pulse.
Add liquid from chick peas to moisten.
Turn processor on and slowly add olive oil. Mix well.
Add spices and more liquid if needed. Continue mixing and adding liquid until desired consistency.
Once done place in serving bowl
and drizzle sesame oil over top.
Serve with your favorite crudités and enjoy.

Whole Wheat Bread (ABM)


    1-1/2 cups water
    1/4 cup olive oil
    2 tablespoons honey or agave nectar
    1 teaspoons sea salt
    2T Flax seed, ground
    1T molasses
    4 cups whole wheat flour
    2t vital wheat gluten
    2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Layer the ingredients into the bread machine pan in the order given.

Set the bread machine onto the Dough Cycle.

Press Start.

When the dough is done mixing and rising, divide it into 2 equal pieces.

Place in 2 well oiled loaf pans.

Cover and allow to rise for about 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes.

2 loaves of bread 16 slices each

Daily

Good morning there you lovlies! What a great day it looks to be.

I had been doing a thankful Thursday sorta series but really I am grateful…thankful for so many reasons I would eventually just bore you all.

Thursday thought is sort of similar though because each topic I know I can find something about it that I am thankful for.

Like my children.

I love them to the core.

Even though my younger 2 are the only ones that live with me I think about my oldest son all the time.

I miss him terribly.

He left on bad terms and I do not agree with decisions he has made but that does not change my love for him.

I do not think a day goes by that my hopes are that things will change so I can see him and give him a hug.

My younger 2 make me smile…

Daily.

Children are truly such blessings and I am blessed 3 times over.

Then family that we marry into.

I absolutely adore my in-laws and it is a hard thing to think about no longer technically being related to them soon.

My Mother and Father-in-law are to me like my own parents.

I have known them for many many years and to have this change is hard too.

But family is actually what we make it.

Right?

Like family is not always blood related.

I have blood sisters and then I have sisters I have claimed.

Friends that have found a place in my heart.

Ones I can talk to.

Ones that make me smile.

Ones that accept me for who I am.

Those are family I choose.

I am blessed in so very many ways with people in my heart.

Ones I can call sister and smile.

After all I will say it again…

Family is what WE make.
